Biography

I was born in Oklahoma City and grew up in this community. I graduated from Bethany High School and ran cross country and track at Southern Nazarene University while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. I served a year in Swaziland after college in medical missions then moved to Nashville, Tennessee. I worked in general surgery at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital as an RN for 5 years while earning my Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. I then worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Peak Vista Community Health Centers in Colorado Springs, Colorado for two years. I’m excited to be back at my alma mater teaching nursing at SNU! I am married to Kaylee who has worked as an elementary teacher in OKC and resident director at Trevecca Nazarene University. She stays at home with our three kids, Violet, Evelyn and Brooks! I love to be outdoors, I am an avid marathoner and trail runner. I enjoy going to the movies and love Taco Bueno.
